Principia, esperimenti d’arte.

Leggi ancora →

Leggi ancora →

Concedersi all’eternità.

(Lavagnetta fotografata in libreria).

Qualche giorno fa ho iniziato a … Leggi ancora →

Occasione persa.

Too late. Ho affogato quel rosso in miliardi di altre goccioline nere. Parole piene. … Leggi ancora →

Leggi ancora →

My feeling is that AI will increasingly summarize large parts of the #internet.

What I'm less convinced about is its ability to replace the people worth reading.

In a world flooded with synthetic content, #authentic voices may become more valuable, not less.

Curious to hear what others think.

What kinds of #writing do you believe will survive unchanged in the AI era, and which ones won't?

That's why I suspect that AI won't destroy writing as much as it will expose the difference between #writing that merely transfers information and writing that expresses a person.

Perhaps #journalism will need to adapt in a similar way.

Facts will always matter.

But maybe style, investigation, expertise and a distinctive #voice will matter more than they do today.

But then there are texts that people read for completely different reasons.

When I read a post from someone I follow, I usually don't do it because I desperately need the information contained in it.

I read it because of their #perspective.

Their voice.

Their way of connecting #ideas.

Their humor, their experiences, even their biases.

The #writing is part of the message.

At the same time, I don't think AI threatens every form of #writing equally.

If I want to know tomorrow's weather, compare products, understand a protocol or read a summary of a news story, I can easily imagine AI becoming the default interface.

A lot of information is valuable primarily because of the information itself.

And AI is very good at moving information around.

This is why I'm skeptical when a project's vision appears to be "we don't have AI."

That feels less like a strategy and more like a description of the present.

What interests me much more is a different question:

Can we build AI systems that respect #privacy?

Systems that anonymize requests, separate identities from queries, create temporary profiles and minimize data collection.

That sounds like a future worth exploring.
