Con Firefox 3.6<\/a>, Mozilla ha allineato il comportamento del suo browser circa l’apertura di nuove schede<\/strong> a quello dei concorrenti.<\/p>\n

Gi\u00e0 da tempo infatti, Google Chrome<\/a> e Internet Explorer 8<\/a> aprivano le nuove schede direttamente accanto<\/strong> alla scheda “madre<\/em>“: quest’ordine tenta di raggruppare le schede in ordine di argomento<\/strong> (le nuove schede sono argomenti che derivano dalla pagina precedente<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Personalmente per\u00f2, preferisco mantenere il vecchio comportamento di Firefox<\/strong> in cui le nuove schede vengono aggiunte in ordine crescente<\/strong> da sinistra verso destra perch\u00e9 – mentalmente – amo vedere alcune schede all’inizio della lista<\/strong> senza che l’apertura di nuovi link inserisca dei tab in mezzo a queste.<\/p>\n

Per ovviare a questo comportamento basta modificare<\/strong> in false<\/em> la voce browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent<\/em> (di default impostata in true<\/em> da Firefox 3.6).<\/p>\n

Ovviamente la voce di configurazione<\/strong> si raggiunge immettendo l’indirizzo “about:config<\/em>” (senza virgolette) nella barra degli indirizzi di Firefox.<\/p>\n
